I wrote this book to help me to teach my daughter Chinese. I was born in Australia and sadly cannot speak Chinese. I want my daughter to know her heritage, and this book has enough prompts to let me read and sing to her in Chinese even though I can't speak. The translations are deliberately word by word so that you can understand what you read and use it in other contexts.
